Hello friends! How are we halfway through the year already?? I remember planning for this blanket at the end of 2021 and it feels like yesterday. I’m LOVING how it’s coming together so far. Wilmington weather is so crazy and all over the place (hence the yellow for the low 70’s in January,) so I was half expecting this blanket to look like a rainbow threw up 😂 I’m happy to see some distinction between the seasons.
June brought some hot days, so I had to break out the pink and red yarn. I’m not a fan of summertime, but I do love how the colors look together!
Now that I’m halfway done with the blanket, I’m thinking ahead to the best way to display it. I thought I’d just use it on my bed, or throw it on the back of the couch, but now I’m thinking it would be nice to display somewhere. If you have any recommendations, let me know! I’m thinking of heading in the direction of a blanket ladder.
I can’t believe the next time I post an update here, she’ll be done! This is definitely the biggest project I’ve taken on, so I can’t wait to see the final result. If you want to see monthly updates, I post those on my Instagram in a story highlight.
